The DIY Kit requires no fusion splicer or special fiber optic tools. Simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Cut the SI-POF fiber to the required length.
Step 2: Install the fiber into the POF connector.
Step 3: Connect both ends to the Media Converters.
Step 4: Connect the RJ45 ports to the required devices:
PC ↔ PC
PC ↔ Switch
Switch ↔ IPC
Camera ↔ PC
--> A Gigabit POF network can then be established immediately.
